ORGANIZATION: Peace for Development Refugees Initiative

  • A group opportunity. Invite your friends.

PDRI works on peacebuilding by supporting communities in conflict through mediation and meetings with community leaders. Due to the vast size of the Kakuma camp and the challenges of accessing Kalobeyei, we face difficulties in transporting our team and materials efficiently. We are raising funds to purchase a motorbike that will greatly improve our ability to travel between these areas.

What You Will Do:

As a volunteer, you will help us raise funds for this motorbike. Your role will involve:

- Engaging with potential donors.
- Organizing online fundraising campaigns.
- Spreading awareness about our work and the importance of the motorbike for peacebuilding efforts.
- Sharing our fundraising materials on social media platforms.

Why This is Important:

The motorbike will:

- Allow our team to reach areas faster.
- Help us carry out our peacebuilding activities more efficiently.
- Enable us to continue meeting community leaders and facilitating mediation sessions on time.

How You Can Help:

By volunteering, you will play a key role in helping PDRI overcome transportation challenges and continue our vital work in building peace and resolving conflicts within the community.

If you are passionate about supporting peace efforts and want to make a direct impact, this is the opportunity for you!
