Through micro loans, hard-working women develop small, sustainable businesses to lift their families out of poverty. The Treasurer is an important part of the organization serving as a non paid Board member to oversee financial management practices. Attending board meetings once a month in person. Responsibilities:

• work with President, staff, to develop and monitor annual budget and expenses.
• present financial statements to Board
• Ensure compliance with IRS regulations for non-profits and grants

Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of accounting principlies
• Experience with budgeting and financial analysis, including use of Quickbooks online
• Passion for helping to fight poverty
