Volunteers provide companionship to both patient and family caregiver. They're a caring, friendly face for chatting, reading, playing games, watching TV, listening to music, and sharing stories. Volunteer visits also offer respite to the family caregiver to take a break from caregiving. Consider volunteering and making a positive difference in not only the patient's life, but yours!

- At Brandywine River Valley Hospice, we treat our volunteers as employees. We do require a background check, drug screening, as well as training on what hospice is and what our volunteers provide!
