Be prepared to have fun and work as a team! We know that in addition to giving back, you will be receiving the joy of helping others in return.
As a volunteer, you will work alongside other volunteers packing up food in distributable packaging and loading into vehicles. The first half of your shift will include setting up food distribution stations, packing bags in anticipation of distribution. You will be assigned to a team. The second half of your shift will include distributing food bags into vehicles and breaking down boxes. You may be selected to help clean up along the route which includes breaking down boxes and putting them into the recycling bins on site.

Description
Satisfeed works to resolve food insecurity based on different needs - for low-income families that need weekly sustenance or out-of-school children who need weekend support. Understanding that local hunger comes in many forms, we work on various levels to feed our community.
Food Rescue lies at the heart of Satisfeed’s operations. We gather groceries and donations from volunteers and community partners to redirect food surplus to families in need.
