Reports to: President

Position Type: Volunteer; Dues- $100 per month

Description of Position:

• Work closely with Treasurer to brainstorm, plan, and implement Fundraising opportunities

• Networking with local nonprofits and potential donors

• Raise awareness of CRCR’s work, goals, and financial needs

• Research potential donors

• Create a fundraising campaign

• Maximize the impact of donations

• Ensure donations are processed efficiently

• Ensure donors are thanked in a timely manner

• General Support for the ongoing operations of CRCR

• Board members attend board and committee meetings, and participate in discussions.

• Board members should be knowledgeable about the organization's mission, policies, programs, and needs.

• Board members may be expected to make a financial donation to the organization.

• Board members are ambassadors for the organization and promote its mission.

CRCR Mission Statement:

Capital Region Community Resource, Inc. is a 501(c) 3 organization established to improve the lives, including the physical, mental, and emotional health of community members living in the Capital Region, while simultaneously contributing to environmental sustainability. Through the Capital Region Community Closet, Capital Region Community Resource, Inc. collects and distributes clothing and basic needs essentials at no cost to Capital Region community members.

CRCR is looking for volunteers who will help our organization reach its full potential, and who are willing to volunteer their time to make the Capital Region a better place.
