Do you enjoy making a difference in the lives of others, but are more of a 'work behind the scenes’ type? We may have the perfect opportunity for you!
Hospice provides vital care for people on their 'end of life' journey, and this is done best by using a team of people to help meet the needs of our patients. Doctors, nurses, aids, social workers, chaplains, admin support and volunteers all play a key role in providing quality care.
Our Assisteo Hospice Admin Volunteers provide in office or at home/remote (depending on the task), administrative support. These volunteers do projects like assembling medical packets, volunteer newsletters, mailings, and end of week check-in phone calls to patients.
Currently, I am looking for someone who has the availabilty of about 1-2 hours a week to make Volunteer Program support calls (references, etc.), provide support in creating quarterly Volunteer Program newsletters, and other remote/virtual admin tasks as needed. This is a volunteer role.
If this sounds of interest to you, I'd like to work out a day/time to connect on the phone to start. I can answer questions, share more details, talk about our on-boarding process, etc.
Thank you for considering being a part of the Assisteo Hospice team.
