WE CAN is seeking Financial Professionals who are willing to volunteer their time to support our Financial Empowerment Programs. Financial Empowerment one to one consultations are for women who want to plan for their future and ensure financial health, as well as those who are currently struggling with financial issues or concerns. The Financial Empowerment Program is designed to complement existing programs on the Cape that offer financial guidance, by assisting women who may need more individualized attention than they may be able to receive in a group setting. This program is also an option for those who may feel uncomfortable in other more "public" venues. We expect that women will want to have more than a single appointment to fully address their financial needs.
Through the generosity of our financial volunteers, WE CAN also offers occasional workshops related to finances, debt management, and student loan debt.

Description
WE CAN (Women’s Empowerment through Cape Area Networking) was founded in 2001 to empower Cape Cod women by providing unique services that inspire hope and bring increased stability, self-sufficiency, and opportunity to their lives. WE CAN serves over 2,000 women each year across Cape Cod with free and confidential legal services, employment and business support, financial empowerment, mentoring, and personal development programs.
With a small staff, our work is made possible through the commitment and dedication of 300 active volunteers including volunteer attorneys, employment specialists, and financial professionals.
