Durham’s Hope For Kids is seeking a passionate and experienced Volunteer Fundraising Chair to lead our fundraising efforts and help us make a lasting impact in the lives of Durham's youth. If you have a strong network and a proven track record in fundraising, we want to hear from you!

As the Volunteer Fundraising Chair, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing effective fundraising strategies that align with our mission. You will work closely with our board and team to create innovative campaigns and events that engage our community and raise essential funds for our programs.

**Responsibilities:**
- Lead the development and execution of fundraising strategies and initiatives.
- Identify and cultivate relationships with potential donors, sponsors, and partners.
- Organize and oversee fundraising events, campaigns, and activities.
- Collaborate with team members to create compelling materials that effectively communicate our mission and impact.
- Monitor and report on fundraising progress, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

**Qualifications:**
- Proven experience in fundraising, development, or a related field.
- Strong connections within the community and the ability to engage potential donors.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for empowering youth and a commitment to the mission of Durham’s Hope For Kids.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
