Job Search Support Specialist

Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one guidance to job-seeking clients through the online job search and application process.
- Assist clients in a computer lab setting with basic computer tasks, including:
- Using Microsoft Word for creating and editing documents.
- Navigating job search engines effectively.
- Completing online job applications.
- Typing resumes, cover letters, and other necessary documents.
- Setting up and using email accounts for professional communication.
- Foster a welcoming and supportive environment for adult learners.
Requirements:
- Patience and Approachability: Ability to interact kindly and constructively with adult learners, understanding their unique needs and challenges.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and the ability to collaborate pleasantly and effectively with clients, other volunteers, and staff.
- Technical Proficiency: Intermediate knowledge of computer skills, including:
- Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.).
- Windows operating system.
- Email platforms (e.g., Gmail, Outlook).
- General internet navigation and job search engines.
