We are seeking two very organized individuals to collaborate with us on a Mint Studios reorganization. You will help us to organize and consolidate art supplies, craft supplies, paintings from our collection, items to donate and areas to work in. This will take several weeks, and could yield some surprises and a much better workspace for our youth.

About MINT ARTISTS GUILD

Location:

20501 Livernois, # 21667, Detroit, MI 48221, US

Mission Statement

Mint Artists Guild helps to transform aspiring Detroit youth artists through education, exceptional engagement and experience, resulting in earning opportunities, skill-building, exposure, and mentoring. Mint launches creative careers and lasting connections. Mint also infuses the community with art and creative experiences, enhancing a collaborative, healthy and generous culture.

Description

Mint works with artists ages 13 to 23 on entrepreneurial, career and life skills, and gives them opportunities to sell their creative work. A summer jobs program, business workshops and online educational and informational resources are offered to young visual artists. In 2020, we launched the Metro Detroit Youth Arts Competition, a creative activity kit giveaway (of 5,500 kits) and in 2021, we launched leadership development training. This year, we are working on new internships and mosaic making and more. We need your help and support to continue our growth!
