Dear Well Read Supporter,


I hope this letter finds you in good health and spirits. I am writing to request your support for Well Read Sistas Inc., a 501c3 nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting the personal and professional development of Black women.

Donations such as this make a significant impact on our efforts by allowing us to provide resources to support Black women, their educational pursuits, and career aspirations. Moreover, your contribution specifically impacts:

  • Well Read Scholars Mentorship Program that supports Black women ages 16-24 in job readiness, whole life management and collegiate success.

  • Annual PKS Book Scholarship for any Black woman matriculating to 2 & 4-year university with textbooks and school supplies

  • Our Core Programming Book club for Black women that reviews books written only by Black women. Further, your donation will go toward our continued programming such as: Sis, You Good?!: Weekly Wellness Check-Ins, Speed-friending, Behind the Pages: Author Chat Series and much more!
