Right to Protect (www.rtp501c3.org) is a California based non-profit (mission) providing supportive services and resources to victims and survivors of domestic violence, sexual violence, human trafficking, and stalking; (vision) assisting those whom we serve with everything from escaping their situations to living a healthy and productive life thereafter. A small nonprofit, founded in March of 2019 inspired by the President / Founder / Executive Director's own experience as a survivor (https://www.rtp501c3.org/founders-lived-experience-her-impact-statement).

The Objective for the role of Social Media Manager is to strengthen and expand the organization's social media presence and reach in a meaningful way. The focus is not so much on quantity of engagement as much as it is on quality of engagement. We believe that done correctly the one (quantity) will follow the other (quality).
The Social Media Manager must (Qualifications):
- Be a person of integrity and conviction and will be expected to represent the organization with honor.
- Be able to work closely and collaborate with the Board of Directors (primarily the President / Founder / Executive Director), and others, as part of a team
- Have a genuine heart for the organization's mission and those whom the organization exists to serve.
- Specialize in areas such as content creation or analytics, and work across many platforms (instagram, facebook, twitter, tiktok, linkedin, etc).
The Social Media Manager will be responsible for:
- Growing and managing our social media presence in strict alignment with the organization's mission and values.
- Ensuring that our social media content - such as posts, videos, and comments - has a tone and style consistent with our voice, while maintaining strict alignment with our established mission and values.
- Creating a posting schedule, so our audience knows when to expect our content.
- Keeping up with and using trending hashtags specific to the subject matter consistent with the organizations mission.
- Posting about current events relevent to the subject matter consistent with the organizations mission.
Though Right to Protect is not formally established as a religious / faith based nonprofit, the President / Founder / Executive Director and Board of Directors are Bible believing Christians, and strongly rooted in their faith.

Description
Founded in March of 2019 by inspiration of the Founders own personal first hand experience escaping domestic violence, spousal rape, and stalking from a law enforcement family. Safe at Home enrolling agency and the only organization to our knowledge, or as far as the Safe at Home program is aware, that offers assistance with the confidential identity change process.
