Family Promise of Delaware, Ohio, is a nonprofit emergency homeless shelter committed to providing 24/7 rapid rehousing services to individuals and families, leading to stable housing, building community, and strengthening lives. Our mission focuses on addressing the root causes of homelessness through comprehensive case management, collaboration, and community support.
We are currently seeking volunteer leaders to join our dynamic board of directors. More information on Family Promise of Delaware County is available at https://www.familypromise-delawareohio.org.
Board members are actively involved in organizational governance and are expected to attend at least 7 of the monthly board meetings, participate in at least one board committee, make a personal financial contribution, help raise funds annually, and help manage donor or community partner relationships.
Based on our recent review of board skills, connections, and live experiences among current Board members, we are seeking new board members who will help broaden our current board. For this reason, we encourage applications from with accounting, human resource, legal, and media expertise, as well as those connected to the local workforce development agency, foundations, organized labor, cultural organizations, Trans and Gender Nonbinary Communities and BIPOC Communities.
The Nominating Committee is accepting applications now.
