ORGANIZATION: NC 501 C 3 HUB INC

NC 501 C 3 Hub, Inc. is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our Events Committee! As an Event Committee Member, you will play a key role in planning and executing impactful events that support our mission of empowering and strengthening nonprofits.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with committee members to plan, organize, and execute events such as the Nonprofit Volunteer Fair, Nonprofit Resource Fair, and other community-focused programs.
  • Assist in brainstorming event themes, venues, schedules, and logistics to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Support the development and implementation of event marketing and outreach strategies to increase participation and engagement.
  • Coordinate with vendors, sponsors, and community partners to secure necessary resources for events.
  • Participate in event-day activities, including setup, registration, and ensuring a smooth experience for attendees.
  • Provide input and feedback on event evaluations to improve future programs.
Qualifications:
  • Passion for supporting nonprofits and community development.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Creativity and problem-solving skills.
  • Prior experience in event planning, fundraising, or nonprofit work is a plus but not required.
Time Commitment:
  • Attendance at bi-weekly committee meetings (virtual or in-person). The majority of the meetings will be virtural.
  • Additional time for planning, coordination, and event execution as needed.
