Do you have experience driving a box truck or other large vehicle? Do you have some time to volunteer within our community?
BLAINE FOOD BANK NEEDS YOU!!!
We are looking for dedicated individuals that are interested in driving food bank vehicles to grocery stores to pick up donated food. This is a physically active position and requires a valid driver's license and experience in driving a box van or similar large vehicle.
Drivers are needed 7 days per week for multiple vehicles. Shifts are available on a recurring regular basis. You can commit to one day a week or more!
Every day is a new adventure with many other great volunteers working hard to provide food to families in need in our community.

Description
The Blaine Food Bank has been serving our community since 1972 providing food for individuals and families facing food insecurity. We have trucks on the road seven days a week picking up food from partner organizations and stores. That food is then brought into our warehouse, sorted and boxed in preparation for our next distribution day. We are open to the public three days per week. It truly takes a village of volunteers to accomplish our mission!
