Description
Jewish Family Service of Orange County is a provider of human services that helps people connect with the greater community and available resources. We educate people about services that they may not be aware of; we offer support and provide meaningful tools. We at JFS are inspired by Jewish values, such as: providing assistance to individuals in need; offering acts of loving kindness; making the world a better place. These values empower us to provide a variety of services to all individuals and offer a safe and welcoming environment for the entire community. If our agency cannot provide needed services directly, we will guide you to places that can meet your needs. Our doors are open; the majority of our services and programs are designed for everyone. There are a few programs that are designed specifically for Jewish families and individuals. History: Our roots go back to 1984 when we were created by the Jewish Federation of Greater Orange County. In 1990, JFS became a tax exempt nonprofit 501c3 organization. We continue to be a recipient agency of the Jewish Federation. We are delighted to have many partners throughout the region. For over thirty years, it has been an honor to serve the entire Orange County community.
