The Finance Specialist volunteer will support The Bailey Foundation by tracking financial processes, ensuring fiscl accountability and providing valuable insights to strengthen the foundation's financial health. This role is ideal for someone witha background in finance, accounting or bookkeeping who is passionate about contributing to a mission-driven organization.

Key Responsibility

1. Finacial Management:

• Assist in managing budgets for programmes, events and initiatives
• Track expenses and and revenue to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Support the development and monitoring of annual and project- specific bugets

2. Donor Contributions

• Record and track donations, sponsorships and grants to ensure proper allocation
• Assist with donor acknowledgements by preparing financial reports or receipts for tax puroses
• Maintain accurate records of financial contributions, ensuring compliance wuth 501(c)(3) regulations.

3. Finacial Reporting:

• Prepare financial summaries for leadership including expenses reports and budget updates
• Work with the Executive Director to provide finacial insight that support strategic decision-making
• Assist with audits or financial reviews as needed

4. Grant Support:

• Help track grant funding and ensure expenses alihns with grant reuirements
• Assist in preparing financial data for grant applications or reports

5. Process Improvement :

• Identify areas for streamlining financial processes and recommend improvements
• Ensure proper documentation and compliance with nonprofit financial standards
