You've heard of Habitat for Humanity and guess what? We host college groups just like yours to help us build homes across the nation. If you are looking for an alternative, volunteer based spring break activity for 10-25 of your college students keep reading,

Hanover & King William Habitat works with volunteers to build safe, secure homes for low-income families in Hanover and King William counties (VA). These families purchase homes at a low interest rate and are selected based on need, ability to afford a home, and willingness to partner. We will be working on a 5-home neighborhood of new construction homes in Ashland, a cute college town. We build with a construction manager on site. We can help connect you with local organizations to make living arrangements. We plan on working Mon-Fri and give you 1 day off during the week.
