ORGANIZATION: Women of Tomorrow Mentor & Scholarship Program

Women of Tomorrow is looking for volunteers to assist with various tasks at our upcoming Annual Inspiring Detroit Dinner on May 15, 2025. We would love to have you attend and help us the day of the event. We are looking for volunteers for various tasks:

  • Setting up at the venue the day of the event
  • Guest registration and check-in
  • Directing guests to cocktail hour and the live program
  • Collecting donations, raffle ticket sales, etc.
  • Check out at the end of the event for collection of silent and live auction items, etc.
  • Tear down after the event concludes

The Women of Tomorrow mission is to inspire, motivate and empower at-risk young women to live up to their full potential through a unique group mentoring program with highly accomplished professional women and scholarship opportunities.

Description

Women of Tomorrow engages highly accomplished professional women as mentors in small group settings to inspire, empower and transform the lives of at-risk high school girls, making a positive impact on their lives and that of their families and the community-at-large.

Our group mentoring program is specifically designed to meet the needs of at-risk teenage girls in our nation’s public high schools. It empowers and inspires them to turn their obstacles into opportunities by providing the exposure, motivation and confidence to create a better future for themselves, their families, and society.
