Provide supportive services to patients and their families. Direct care volunteers do not provide hands-on care to the patient at any time and are not permitted to provide transportation for the patient or their family. Services may include companionship, socialization, running errands, meal preparation, household chores, and emotional or spiritual support.

We’re a team of caregivers that help clients age with grace and dignity, empowering them and their loved ones to share in a journey of kindness and support. It’s compassionate care that’s close to home, and close to the heart. To become a volunteer, all you need is a compassionate heart. Our volunteer training will teach you everything you need to know to be a companion for someone during their end-of-life journey. You’ll learn valuable skills in grief counseling, spiritual and emotional support, and end-of-life care.
