Are you passionate about the arts and education? The Illinois Conservatory for the Arts (ICA) is seeking dedicated individuals to join our Board of Directors and help shape the future of arts education. Since 2020, ICA has empowered over 600 students through transformative arts and academic programs in the Western suburbs of Chicago.

As a Board Member, you will:

  • Contribute strategic guidance to support ICA's mission of providing high-level arts training and rigorous academics.
  • Help secure funding and advocate for ICA's initiatives within your network.
  • Leverage your expertise in areas like finance, marketing, fundraising, governance, or education to drive ICA's success.
  • Participate in quarterly board meetings and serve on committees.

Description

Academy of the Arts is a non profit educational institution in the Western suburbs of Chicago where high-level arts meets high-achieving academics. Academy of the Arts is committed to providing high-level arts programming while engaging students in a comprehensive academic education. We believe that creativity and the quest for innovation fosters individuality-allowing the holistic development of each student.

Over the next two years, the Academy of the Arts board will:

  • Grow from 7 to 15 members
  • Help Academy of the Arts reach 250 students by 2024
  • Support the Academy of the Arts budget through fundraising and financial stewardship
