CornerHouse is a Child Advocacy center located in Minneapolis, Minnesota. CornerHouse was founded in 1989 during the inception of the Children’s Advocacy Center model. As an accredited CAC, CornerHouse has worked to address the traumatic effects of child abuse - supporting children and families throughout the disclosure, investigation, and legal processes.
Most recently, CornerHouse expanded its services to provide therapeutic healing through mental health and advocacy services. This addition helps children and families heal from their experience of abuse.
We are looking for someone to help repair and sew new clothes for the dolls at CornerHouse. You could sew from home and make your own hours.

Description
CornerHouse is a great community resource that is on the frontlines of child abuse; assuring that the voices of children, adolescents, and vulnerable adults are heard. CornerHouse is also valued as an industry resource; teaching and sharing best practices, observations, and techniques in forensic interviewing.
Founded in 1989, CornerHouse is anaccredited Children’s Advocacy Center (CAC) that coordinates multi-disciplinary teams to assist each child and family and offers services that are designed to minimize trauma to child victims of abuse, to provide support and assistance to the entire family, and to hold offenders accountable.
CornerHouse was founded as a private, non-profit organization in public-private partnership with Hennepin County Attorney's Office, the Minneapolis Police Department, the Hennepin County Sheriff's Department, suburban Hennepin County police departments, Hennepin County Human Services and Public Health Department, Hennepin County Medical Center and Children's Hospitals and Clinics-Minneapolis.
