Do you want to make a difference in children's lives? Fairfax County Title I elementary schools need the help of mature adults (age 50 and older) in spring 2025, and beyond. Especially, in Herndon, Reston, Falls Church (Spanish speakers needed in Bailey's), Alexandria, and Springfield.
GrandInvolve(GI) supports the education of our most vulnerable populations through classroom volunteering, building intergenerational relationships between our young and older community members. GI volunteers engage in a variety of ways with students with: Reading, Math, Kindergarten Readiness, Language Support, and more.
Bilingual volunteers are needed, too! Spanish, Vietnamese, Arabic, Farsi, Amharic, and Pashto.

The Fairfax Area Agency on Aging (AAA) serves older adults, adults with disabilities, and family caregivers in Fairfax County and the cities of Fairfax and Falls Church. The goal of the AAA is to improve quality of life and promote independent living for older adults. We are a partnership of Department of Family Services, Neighborhood and Community Services and the Health Department.

Our mission is to support older adults and adults with disabilities in a variety of ways. We provide volunteer services to help people to remain in their own homes/communities and improve their quality of life.
