This volunteer opportunity gives volunteers a hands-on experience in both facilities and information technology at CORA. As the Facilities and Technology intern, you will learn about CORA’S facilities work, under the guidance of our Facilities Team, with our staff teaching you all the basic skills you will need to have to complete your assignments. provide facilities assistance to projects, learn about plumbing, electrical repairs, and carpentry, and also will volunteer helping with office layout changes and setups, equipment installations, keeping inventory and organization of stock. In addition, for IT, this volunteer will assist with managing inventory and helping with the upgrades and setups of laptops, computers, phones.
Primary Duties/Responsibilities:
* Provide facilities assistance to projects
* Learn about plumbing,
* Learn about electrical repairs
* Learn carpentry skills
* Help with office layout changes and setups,
* Assist with equipment installations
* Help keep inventory and organization of stock
* Assist with managing inventory

Who We Are
CORA is the only agency in San Mateo County with the sole purpose of serving victims/survivors of domestic violence/abuse. We are a multicultural agency committed to serving victims/survivors, regardless of age, ethnicity/race, financial status, language, sexual orientation, immigration status, class, religion, gender, mental or physical ability.
We provide free and confidential emergency, intervention and prevention services, including the county's only emergency shelter and transitional housing for victims/survivors and services in Spanish and English.

- 2 - 6 hours per week on either or both Mondays + Tuesdays, anytime between 8AM-12PM (days and times are flexible) Length of Commitment: 3-6 month
- Someone that is good with their hands. Has some knowledge of PC computers and iPhones. Some knowledge of excel is helpful, and the most important skill, just an all-around good attitude.
