ORGANIZATION: NEW MEXICO RAMP PROJECT

The New Mexico Ramp Project (NMRP) is seeking two skilled and detail-oriented Information Technology (I.T.) Managers to join our team. In this volunteer role, you will oversee the organization's technology infrastructure and ensure that all I.T. systems are running efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing and supporting coordinators within your department to ensure effective technology operations.
  • Reporting directly to the Executive Director, providing updates and recommendations on I.T. matters.
  • Managing volunteers within your department to foster a collaborative and productive environment.
  • Developing and maintaining a comprehensive departmental plan to guide I.T. operations.
  • Creating and sustaining a training plan for the department, in partnership with the Training Manager, to ensure team members are well-equipped with necessary I.T. knowledge.
  • Managing corporate credit card software to ensure secure and efficient use.
  • Determining the software needs of the organization and recommending solutions to enhance operations.
  • Managing the use of Genius Scan for document processing and organization.
  • Developing and maintaining a training plan for the department to stay current with evolving I.T. tools and technologies.

Mission Statement

The New Mexico Ramp Project is a 501(c)(3) charitable nonprofit that provides free ramps for older adults and people with mobility issues across New Mexico. These are identified by local health care providers and organizations knowing the financial and medical condition of the individual. Volunteer labor is used to build the ramps. Ramps are built without regard to race, religion, ethnicity, age or gender.

Our vision is that no New Mexico resident with mobility issues shall lack safe access to their residence because of financial limitations.
