The New Mexico Ramp Project (NMRP) is seeking two organized and detail-oriented Logistics Managers to join our team. In this volunteer role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing various logistics functions to ensure the smooth operation of the organization. Your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing and supporting coordinators within your department to ensure effective operations.
- Reporting directly to the Executive Director, providing updates on logistics and operational matters.
- Managing volunteers within your department, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
- Developing and maintaining a comprehensive departmental plan to guide logistics operations.
- Creating and sustaining a training plan for the department in collaboration with the Training Manager.
- Ensuring that all FABs (Fabrication Facilities) and trailers are secure and well-maintained.
- Maintaining an up-to-date list of all tools and trailers.
- Managing larger and corporate-wide purchases to ensure proper budgeting and allocation of resources.
- Overseeing the management of the NTTC (Non-Tax Transition Certificates) system.
- Managing the FAB facilities, including procurement, insurance, and closing out rental agreements (if applicable).
- Maintaining a current list of all buildings and their status (e.g., owner, insurance, etc.).
- Coordinating and working with funding agencies to ensure effective communication and support.

Mission Statement
The New Mexico Ramp Project is a 501(c)(3) charitable nonprofit that provides free ramps for older adults and people with mobility issues across New Mexico. These are identified by local health care providers and organizations knowing the financial and medical condition of the individual. Volunteer labor is used to build the ramps. Ramps are built without regard to race, religion, ethnicity, age or gender.

Our vision is that no New Mexico resident with mobility issues shall lack safe access to their residence because of financial limitations.
