We are seeking two dedicated and organized Communications Managers to join our team. This volunteer position will play a key role in overseeing and supporting the Communications Department, ensuring smooth operations and effective communication strategies. As the Communications Manager, you will:
- Provide oversight and support to the Coordinators within the Communications Department.
- Report directly to the Executive Director, assisting in strategic decision-making and implementation.
- Manage and coordinate volunteers within the Communications Department, fostering a collaborative and productive environment.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive training plan for the department, in partnership with the Training Manager, to ensure continuous learning and growth.
- Lead the creation and distribution of the NMRP Monthly Newsletter, ensuring timely and engaging content.

Mission Statement
The New Mexico Ramp Project is a 501(c)(3) charitable nonprofit that provides free ramps for older adults and people with mobility issues across New Mexico. These are identified by local health care providers and organizations knowing the financial and medical condition of the individual. Volunteer labor is used to build the ramps. Ramps are built without regard to race, religion, ethnicity, age or gender.
Description
Our vision is that no New Mexico resident with mobility issues shall lack safe access to their residence because of financial limitations.
