About Mentor A Promise:

Mentor A Promise is a non-profit organization, and our mission is to provide socio-emotional learning, academic support, and mentorship to students in temporary housing and facing housing instability. We partner with family temporary housing sites across New York, educational institutions, and community organizations to create a strong support network for young people experiencing homelessness, helping them overcome challenges and forge their own path to success. Position Overview:

As a Podcaster, you will be play a very important role in communicating our work within our community and other outlets.

Key Responsibilities:

· Manage the daily technical publishing process of our podcasts including liaising with various producers and production teams, as well as editorial, publishing, and programming leads

· Maintain and systemize each podcast’s Airtable to ensure congruence between shows

· Lead the storage and file management

· Verify audio files for quality, completeness, and proper formatting before and after upload

· Quality controls uploads for any issues, troubleshoots problems, and liaises as needed

· Create and manage publishing platform partners to create and launch RSS feed onto platforms

Position Requirements:

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· Passion for podcasts and digital media

· Experience with demonstrated skills in digital project management and coordination and/or publishing

Desired Qualifications:

· An eye for detail and a willingness to learn new technologies

· Excellent problem-solving skills

· Self-starter that can troubleshoot with speed and accuracy

· Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
