Safe Haven United Church of Christ is a small but vibrant congregation located in Ridgewood, NY. We are committed to serving our community and providing valuable learning experiences for those seeking to develop their skills in a supportive and faith-based environment.
We have three volunteer positions available, each offering hands-on experience and mentorship from our dedicated staff. The Social Media and Communications Intern will focus on managing our online presence, creating engaging content, and growing our audience. The E-Commerce and Online Sales Intern will manage online sales of church-related items, optimize product listings, and handle customer inquiries. The Finance and Administration Intern will gain practical experience in financial management, bookkeeping, and administrative support.
We believe that these volunteer positions offer a unique opportunity for students to apply their skills and knowledge in a real-world setting while contributing to a meaningful mission.

Safe Haven UCC, established in 1995, offers diverse opportunities for individuals to use their God-given gifts to heal and transform communities. Our ministries include:
- Church Administration: Manages business, financial, and legal affairs.
- Education: Provides programs for all ages to grow in faith and friendship.
- Evangelism: Spreads the gospel through media and outreach.
- Lay Leadership: Encourages service through various church roles.
- Missions: Works for justice and supports those in need.
- Music & Performing Arts: Enhances worship with creative arts.
- Pastoral Care: Offers support and healing through prayer and counseling.
We partner with other organizations to glorify God and build up the community.
