Botanical Garden Spring Clean-up

Save to Favorites

ORGANIZATION: Cleveland Botanical Garden

Youth garden clean-up
Family time volunteering!

It's spring at Cleveland Botanical Garden! After winter passes and the soil warms up, it is time to remove the plant debris and tidy up our gardens for guests. Volunteers will help with basic outdoor garden clean-up activities such as raking leaves, carrying away plant debris, composting, picking up/bagging sticks and other basic tasks. No garden experience necessary, and no extra charge for the chance to see our GORGEOUS spring tulip display for FREE!

NOTE: This activity will be cancelled in case of significant rain or other bad weather.

This special ALL PLAY Day at HF&G works for individuals ages 14-25, small groups, and families with children ages 8 and up! ALL PLAY Days at Holden Forests & Gardens are when we host one-time volunteer activities that are open to anyone, whether you are an active volunteer with us or not! It’s an opportunity to help the environment, make new friends, try out volunteering for us and hopefully, have a little fun! Plus, you get the benefit of free parking and free admission before or after volunteering so you can enjoy our remarkable forests & gardens.

Here are the details:

  • WHEN: Saturday, April 26 from 9:30am-12:00pm. A light lunch is provided afterward.
  • WHERE: Cleveland Botanical Garden at 11030 East Boulevard. Volunteers can park in our attached parking garage (the entrance is off of Wade Oval). Just follow the signs when you arrive!
