Day Use Recreation Area Gate Attendant Needed on Hartwell Lake !

Spend the summer on beautiful Hartwell Lake situated on the border between northeast Georgia and upstate South Carolina. The US Army Corps of Engineers at Hartwell Lake is seeking a gate attendant for Elrod Ferry Recreation Area in Hartwell, Ga. Position available April 1, 2025 and runs through Sept 2, 2025 Hours are 10-5 Saturday-Sunday and major holidays (May 27, July 4, Sept 2).

Duties include staffing gatehouse, greeting visitors, ensuring payment of entrance fee at fee machine, answer questions concerning park rules/regulations and general lake information, and share message of water safety.
