We are seeking a Team Leader for Agricultural & Eco Projects
Position Overview: Lead the agricultural initiatives and eco-projects at Vicky's Keys following the kibbutz model of communal living and working.
Key Responsibilities: Agricultural:
- Manage Kitchen Garden, Aquaponics, and Permaculture systems
- Oversee fish farming operations
- Plan crop rotations and harvesting schedules
- Lead agricultural workshops and training sessions
- Implement sustainable farming practices
Eco Projects:
- Coordinate community garden development
- Oversee The Keys Market project initiatives
- Implement sustainable practices across all projects
- Develop educational programs
Community Living & Leadership:
- Participate in daily community meetings
- Lead morning work assignments
- Organize communal meals planning for agricultural produce
- Foster community spirit through agricultural activities
- Mentor and guide assigned volunteers
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years experience in sustainable agriculture
- Knowledge of aquaponics and permaculture
- Leadership experience
- Strong communication skills
- Valid driver's license
- Fluent in English (additional languages a plus)
