Become a Volunteer with Choice! We love our volunteers and are needing a bigger crew! Many of our patients love to have someone visit and come see them. Our patients are terminally ill but still love someone to come by and see them.
As a Hospice Volunteer you will be visiting patients in their home or in nursing facilities. We need volunteers who are willing to read the paper, scriptures or a book to the patient, share hobbies, play & listen to soothing music, visit with patients, bring flowers from a garden, share photos, or just sit quietly and be the gift of compassionate presence for them.
Literally an hour of your time makes a wonderful difference in the lives of our patients and their spouses or caregivers.
Let's get you started!

Description
Hospice is a patient-centered approach to improve the quality of life and provide compassionate support for patients and families. Hospice care is focused on maintaining dignity and providing comfort, including pain and symptom management at the end of life when a cure is no longer possible. Also called palliative care, hospice involves the aggressive treatment of physical and emotional pain and symptoms. Hospice affirms life, improves comfort, and does not hasten or postpone death.
