Mission Statement

Sponsored by GRACE exists to empower children and families by sharing the Gospel, connecting them to a local faith family, and meeting their physical needs. For many generations we have seen a vicious cycle continue to rear its head in our communities. Bridges have been burned, families have been torn apart, innocent lives have been taken, systems remain broken, and children remain hopeless for the future. Sponsored by GRACE has identified a plan of freedom by establishing relational equity throughout the communities we work with through consistency, partnership, and accessibility. We believe that before aid can be offered, trust must be built. Our approach at Sponsored by GRACE is to join hands with the children and families in our community and assist them in building a brighter tomorrow.

Description

Established in 2018 in Jacksonville, Florida's 32209 zip code. We have provided hundreds of beds, empowered over 30 adults to achieve getting their high school diplomas, connected 30 kids to a sponsor that mentors and advocates for them, hosted about 240 Saturday Impact days (field activity, craft, bible lesson, and snack), provide tutoring to kids in school, school supplies and clothes, as well as thousands of dollars in emergency assistance for electric, rent, and food, are just a few of the ways we impact and empower this community.
