Volunteers with OHV’s & 4x4’s: if you have an OHV or 4X4, this is a great opportunity to explore the area & help us remove scattered trash. If you have a truck or trailer, we could use your help hauling loads of trash to the dumpsters. Please bring sturdy work gloves, especially for stuff that has been used for target practice.
Non OHV/4-Wheel Drive Volunteers: You do not need an OHV (off-highway vehicle) or 4x4 to participate, the event is on dirt roads where low clearance vehicles may have difficulty, please use caution when driving out to this site. There are plenty of areas within walking distance of the staging area that need our help.
Directions: Do not use the EventBrite map to get here, it will send you to the wrong location. Use the GPS coordinates below in your mapping app to get there.
GPS Coordinates: 33.287500, -111.260778
US60 East Towards Superior, Turn left on Queen Valley Road, 1.7 miles to Hewitt Station Road, 1.5 miles to the Sign-in Table.
If you are coming from the Valley: After you see the exit for Florence Junction, merge into the left lane because you are going to take the next left. There will be a small green sign for Queen Valley with an arrow pointing left, but if you aren't looking for it, you will miss it. If you cross the railroad tracks, you went to far.
If you are coming from Superior/Globe: make a right to Queen Valley after the railroad tracks.

About Natural Restorations
Location:

Mission Statement
Our mission is to remove trash, graffiti from outdoor recreation and wilderness areas, revitalize natural areas through replanting projects, and enrich the lives of military veterans and other community members.
Description
We remove trash, graffiti and anything foreign to the environment from outdoor recreation and wilderness areas throughout the state of Arizona. We replant burn scar areas by salvaging cacti that would otherwise be destroyed on construction sites and we transport them to burn scars where our team replants them. We provide contract work to Military Veterans on our Dedicated Restoration Team and host volunteer events for the community, including youth volunteers.
We have a passion for nature and we believe outdoor restorations and education ensures everyone will be able to enjoy outdoor recreation and wilderness areas. We approach every project with a commitment to long-term change and making lasting impacts in communities across the state.
We have removed over 1.5 million pounds of trash (791+ tons), planted over 53,500 trees, plants & cacti, and removed over 42,451 square feet of graffiti. We have provided over 17,400 hours of contract work to military veterans on our Dedicated Restoration Team. We have hosted over 107 volunteer events and completed over 141 restoration projects with our Dedicated Restoration Team.
