Pride in Our Workplace (PIOW) is seeking passionate and dedicated individuals to join our Board of Directors. As a leader in fostering LGBTQIA+ inclusion in workplaces across Boston, Massachusetts, and beyond, PIOW empowers professionals, amplifies diverse voices, and drives meaningful change in corporate cultures.

Serving on the PIOW Board offers an incredible opportunity to make a lasting impact on our community by guiding our mission, shaping strategic initiatives, and supporting programs that create safer, more inclusive workplaces for LGBTQIA+ individuals. We are a working board, which means we need people who are ready to roll up their sleeves and help improve and grow our efforts through hands-on involvement.

What We’re Looking For:
We’re seeking board members who:

  • Are committed to advancing diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging in professional spaces.
  • Bring expertise in areas such as nonprofit leadership, employee resource group leadership, finance, fundraising, DEI advocacy, marketing and communications, or event planning.
  • Have experience and passion for empowering LGBTQIA+ professionals and fostering workplace equity.
  • Can dedicate time and resources to support our mission and actively engage in board activities.

What You’ll Do:

  • Collaborate with fellow board members and our Executive Director to set PIOW’s strategic direction.
  • Advocate for LGBTQIA+ inclusion by leveraging your expertise and networks.
  • Provide oversight and support for PIOW programs, events, communications, and partnerships.
