CAC's Champion For Children Run (Event Committee)

Children's Advocacy Center (CAC) of North and Northwest Cook County is seeking volunteers interested in participating as members of the event planning committee for our Annual Champions for Children Run. The committee will meet approximately once every 3-4 weeks before meeting more frequently as the event draws closer. Participants will have the opportunity to join meetings virtually as needed. We are especially interested in voluteers who can help us make sponsorship connectiosn within the community. All are welcome to apply!

Description

Children's Advocacy Center of North and Northwest Cook County (CAC) was established in 1989 to help meet the needs of children in our community who have been victims of or witnesses to violence. We are fully accredited by the National Children's Alliance, and there are 900+ CACs in the United States, as well as 34 countries around the world. Our primary service area includes 38 north and northwest suburbs of Chicago.

A 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization, CAC is a fully accredited member of the National Children’s Alliance. CAC provides all services free of charge in both English and Spanish.
