Young Professionals in Charleston Sc -We Need Your Passion!
ORGANIZATION: Alzheimer's Association - South Carolina Chapter
Please visit the new page to apply.
We are currently building a NEW Young Professional (YP) Board for the Alzheimer's Association South Carolina Chapter in the Charleston SC area. The YP Board is a sub-committee of The Longest Day SC's Volunteer Ambassador Committee. We are seeking passionate Alzheimer’s Ambassadors and outgoing 20 to 40 year old young professionals to help grow The Longest Day event - the Associations 2nd signature event.
Fundraise your way through The Longest Day! Now you can turn your passion into purpose and honor all those impacted by Alzheimer's and all other dementia. Simply choose any activity, and any date from 9/1 to 8/31 each season, and we'll help you turn it into a fundraiser to #ENDALZ. Then, all participants unite online for a day of honor on the summer solstice- the longest day of light-the day with the most light is the day we fight!
In addition to Leadership Roles on the YP Board, we also have a Participant Engagement team that works with current and past participants, and a Community Outreach team that works to promote the event and help generate new participation.
