Description:
Help directly with on-the-ground Hurricane Helene relief efforts in Western NC. Volunteers will assist with distributing supplies, organizing donations, and participating in hands-on projects, such as cleanup efforts and filter builds in collaboration with Wine to Water.
Responsibilities:
- Distribute food, water, tarps, and cleaning supplies to impacted communities.
- Assist with community cleanup projects, including debris removal and organizing spaces.
- Participate in relief events, such as filter-building projects with local partners.
- Support logistical efforts for local relief initiatives.
Skills Needed:
- Ability to perform physical labor
- Teamwork and organizational skills
- Flexibility to work in varying conditions
Commitment: Volunteer shifts will be scheduled based on project needs (e.g., 4-hour blocks).
