We are looking for an experienced Grant Writer who is willing to contribute their skills Pro Bono to help us write compelling grant proposals and secure funding for National Overdose Prevention and Education. Your expertise can make a lasting impact by enabling us to continue and expand our important work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Researching potential grant opportunities from foundations, government programs, and other funding sources.
• Writing clear, persuasive, and well-structured grant proposals.
• Ensuring all proposals align with our mission and meet the specific requirements of each funder.
• Preparing supporting documents, including budgets, program descriptions, and evaluation plans.
• Managing grant application guidelines and submissions.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience in grant writing, preferably for non-profits or similar causes.
• Strong research, writing, and editing skills.
• Familiarity with the grant application process and requirements
• Ability to translate complex ideas into clear and compelling proposals.
• Knowledge of funding opportunities in substance use education (an asset, but not required)
• Must be located in the United States
