Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of individuals living with memory loss and their caregivers? The Memory Cafe at the Center for Modern Aging Princeton offers a unique opportunity to volunteer and be part of a supportive, engaging community.
Held monthly on the second Saturday from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, the Memory Cafe is designed to foster connection, creativity, and social interaction for individuals experiencing memory loss and their caregivers. As a volunteer, you’ll help create a welcoming, vibrant environment where participants can enjoy meaningful activities, including memory exercises, art projects, and games. In the first hour, you'll assist participants with introductions, snacks, and structured activities that stimulate the mind and encourage socialization. In the second hour, caregivers have the option to join their loved ones, allowing you to help facilitate shared activities that strengthen relationships and build lasting memories.
Volunteers play a vital role in ensuring the success of the Memory Cafe. Your support will make a tangible difference in the lives of those who are navigating the challenges of memory loss. Whether you have experience in caregiving, dementia support, or simply want to offer a helping hand, we welcome your presence and enthusiasm.
