Role Overview

The Community Outreach Coordinator will be instrumental in building relationships with community partners, engaging with stakeholders, and raising awareness about the Foundation’s mission. This role will work closely with the Director of Community Outreach. This position is ideal for someone who excels at communication, relationship-building, and fostering community engagement.

Responsibilities
  • Community Engagement:

    • Identify and build partnerships with local organizations, healthcare providers, and community groups to support the Foundation’s mission.

    • Represent the Foundation at community events, workshops, and networking opportunities.

  • Outreach Program Coordination:

    • Develop and implement outreach strategies to connect with underserved communities and expand program participation.

    • Organize and facilitate events, such as support group meetings and informational sessions.

  • Awareness Campaigns:

    • Collaborate with the marketing team to create campaigns that raise awareness about postpartum care and the Foundation’s services.

    • Distribute promotional materials and ensure consistent messaging across outreach efforts.

  • Volunteer Engagement:

    • Work with program staff to recruit and train volunteers for community initiatives.

    • Maintain relationships with volunteers and provide support as needed.

  • Data Collection and Reporting:

    • Track outreach activities and their impact, preparing reports for leadership.

    • Gather feedback from the community to improve programming and engagement.

Qualifications
  • Passion for maternal health, postpartum care, and family support services.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with diverse audiences.

  • Experience in community engagement, outreach, or event planning (preferred but not required).

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.

  • Familiarity with social media platforms, Google Workspace, and basic project management tools.

  • Organized and detail-oriented with a proactive mindset.

The PostBaby Bliss Foundation exists to empower, support and uplift postpartum families by providing access to essential postpartum resources, education, and compassionate care during one of life’s most transformative and challenging stages.
Through charitable programs, educational workshops, and community outreach initiatives, the Foundation aims to Promote Maternal and Infant Health through free or subsidized postpartum care, mental health support, and recovery resources, to underserved families. We also aim to educate and empower parents, advance awareness and advocacy, facilitate research and innovation, and foster community connections.
