Job Description: Director of Community Outreach
Location: Remote

The PostBaby Bliss Foundation is seeking a passionate and dedicated Director of Community Outreach (Volunteer) to lead and implement strategies that build strong relationships with our community, partners, and stakeholders. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping postpartum families access the support, education, and resources they need to thrive.

The ideal candidate is a dynamic leader with exceptional communication skills, a strong network within the community, and a heart for service.

Key Responsibilities

• Community Engagement:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with local organizations, businesses, healthcare providers, and community leaders to promote the Foundation’s mission.

• Identify opportunities for collaboration and partnership to extend the Foundation’s reach.

• Program Development & Outreach:

• Design and execute community outreach programs, workshops, and events that align with the Foundation's goals.

• Represent the Foundation at community events, meetings, and forums to raise awareness about postpartum support services.

• Volunteer Management:

• Recruit, train, and coordinate volunteers to support community outreach initiatives.

• Provide leadership and mentorship to volunteers, ensuring a cohesive and effective team.

• Public Relations & Marketing:

• Collaborate with the communications team to create outreach materials, social media campaigns, and newsletters.

• Serve as a spokesperson for the Foundation, fostering positive public relations.

• Strategic Planning & Reporting:

• Develop an outreach strategy aligned with the Foundation’s mission and goals.

• Track and evaluate the effectiveness of outreach efforts, providing regular reports to leadership.

Qualifications

• Passion for Maternal Health: Strong commitment to supporting postpartum families and raising awareness about the challenges they face.

• Leadership Experience: Proven ability to lead initiatives, manage teams, and foster collaborative relationships.

• Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with experience in public speaking and community engagement.

• Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple projects, events, and relationships simultaneously.

• Volunteer Experience: Previous experience with nonprofit organizations or community initiatives is a plus.

Time Commitment

• Flexible schedule with an average commitment of 10-15 hours per week.

• Ability to attend weekly meeting as needed.
