At Uprise Circus, volunteering is an opportunity to be a part of a vibrant, community-focused nonprofit that uses social circus arts to inspire and empower youth. As a volunteer, you'll join a team of passionate individuals committed to making a positive impact through creativity and teamwork.
Our weekly outreach programs bring the joy and discipline of circus skills to children and young adults, offering a fun and supportive space for growth. Whether you're helping with on the ground, or up in the air, you’ll witness firsthand the transformative power of the circus and the positive changes it creates.
In addition to outreach, our weekly staff training days are a core component of our volunteer experience. This is a unique opportunity for all staff, including volunteers, to come together, learn, and grow as a team. These sessions foster collaboration, skill-building, and reflection-ensuring that we all continue to improve in the same way our students do.
Join us in making a lasting impact, and experience the joy of helping others grow both personally and professionally in a creative and dynamic environment!

Description
When we first learned of the need for social circus with disadvantaged children in Central Texas, we knew we had to do something.
Circus of Hope was a social circus active from 2013-2018; our nonprofit Uprise Circus was created to fill the need when they closed and expand it to serve a broader group of teens.
The all-female founders and friends share a passion for helping kids, love of circus, and commitment to making an impact on their community.
