Mission Statement
Jonathan’s Landing Foundation is a nonprofit research institute engineering residential and workforce solutions that help provide adults with autism and other neurodiversities a more meaningful life.
Description
At the heart of Jonathan’s Landing Foundation is a neuroinclusive, intentional community where residents have the ability to work towards their own level of independence. And whether they’re with us for 12 months or 5 years, it is a community where they can experience true belonging and know that they are always welcome.
Creating innovative residential solutions is only part of the equation, because in order to fully experience a life of dignity and purpose, we want to give neurodiverse adults a pathway to sustainable career options just like their peers. Through our Workforce Academy, we’re building job training programs that will help our adults gain employment with our corporate partners across the region, as well as in our own social enterprises.
Jonathan’s Landing Foundation isn’t just helping companies understand how to better employ and support neurodiverse adults, we’re also creating our own neuroinclusive social enterprises where the revenue we generate will be used to offset the cost of living in our community for residents and their families.
