The Five Valleys Area (Ravalli, Missoula, Lake Counties) Special Olympics Programs are looking for Competition Coordinators to help plan their community sports training & tournaments!
Sports & Competition Coordinator oversees all work and committees dedicated to facilitating local Area competitions. This position is the primary liaison between SOMT’s Sports Department and the local volunteers. We are looking for Volunteers who are familliar with or willing to learn and run the following sports: Bocce, Track, Field, Shot Put, Swimming, Jumps, Swimming
Must be able to attend event Day Of. Events regularly fall on week days.
Experience with a nonprofit organization or sports organization is helpful but not required.
New coordinator orientation and ongoing training is provided by Special Olympics Montana staff.
This is a volunteer, non-paid position. Allowable -expense reimbursements are available.
