Description: Kaiwa Cares, Inc. is seeking licensed psychologists to volunteer their expertise to support our mission of enhancing mental health and well-being for youth and young adults in Northeast Florida. Our organization is committed to empowering individuals through accessible mental health services and support, particularly in underserved areas. As a Volunteer Psychologist, you will play a crucial role in providing therapy and counseling services, contributing to our community-driven initiatives, and making a lasting impact in the lives of those we serve.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide psychological counseling and therapy sessions to individuals or groups.
  • Assist in developing and facilitating workshops and support groups.
  • Offer guidance and support for mental health initiatives tailored to the needs of our community.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to plan comprehensive care.
  • Help in creating mental health resources and educational materials.

Qualifications:

  • Doctorate in Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) from an accredited institution.
  • Current, valid state license to practice psychology.
  • Experience in clinical psychology, counseling, or a similar field.
  • Compassion, empathy, and dedication to mental health advocacy.
  • Ability to volunteer remotely or on-site, depending on program needs and personal preference.

Time Commitment:

  • Flexible hours; we request a minimum of 4 hours per month for at least 6 months to ensure continuity of care for our clients.
