Housecall Providers is searching for committed administrative volunteers to join our "Thursday Team."
As a member of the team, you will collaborate with staff and other volunteers to ensure that our patients and their caregivers get the best-possible care from our clinical staff by performing a wide variety of administrative tasks. The team meets every Thursday from 10am to 2pm in our South Waterfront area offices and works both individually and collaboratively focuses on whichever jobs are most crucial that week. Specific tasks include tuck-in phone calls (calling caregivers to make sure they all needed weekend supplies), patient chart audits, organization, and stocking of supplies, compiling mailings, and assisting leadership as needed.
The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, have basic office skills, a positive attitude and a desire to make a difference in the lives of others. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, comfort with databases, and strong phone skills are particularly desirable.
We offer a warm and inviting atmosphere where your work will be appreciated and respected. As a volunteer you will have the opportunity to be involved in meaningful work while gaining invaluable experience in hospice and primary care administration.
