We’re excited to match you with a site that fits your availability! You’ll have the wonderful opportunity to team up with two to three fellow volunteers and lead a small group (8-15) of girls, either in grades 3-5 with the Girls on the Run program or in grades 6-8 with Heart & Sole.

It’s going to be an amazing experience! Glamour Magazine selected GOTR as the #1 place to use your PTO from work.

The deadline to sign up to coach is January 13.

The Spring season starts the week of February 3, and the 5K is April 26.

As a GOTR coach this season, you will:

  • Build confidence in girls
  • Inspire participants to unlock confidence in others
  • Deepen your skills in communication, teamwork, and more
  • Become trained in leading small teams
  • Meet twice a week for 90 minutes (usually M/W or T/TH)
  • Move in a way that’s right for you (No need to be a runner or athlete!)
  • Receive season-long support from your council and site liaison

"Being a coach has impacted me in a positive way. I feel more empowered and confident. All the lessons are lessons that even we as adults can learn from. I love the program."-past GOTR Coach.
