L.A. Chinatown Firecracker Run Committee, Inc. (LACFRC) are a non-salaried group of volunteers who donate their time and energy to organize and stage events and programs; promoting health, fitness, and cultural awareness to the greater Los Angeles community.
All proceeds are reinvested in the community, in support of elementary schools and non-profit organizations, providing service and programs that benefit local neighborhoods.
Firecracker is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

Description
The Los Angeles Firecracker Run Committee, Inc. is a community-based, 501.3(c)(3) non-profit organization staffed by non-salaried volunteers who donate their time and energies to organize and stage an annual run/walk/bike event. Proceeds from the Firecracker events are used to promote an enhanced quality of life for those who live and attend school in and around the greater Los Angeles Chinatown area, by providing charitable and civic organizations with financial and logistical support.
